ROSSO DI SERA
ROSSO DI SERA is an organizational and cultural development project conceived by Teatro Magro, funded by Fondazione Cariplo. The initiative was born from careful reflection on the Cooperative’s journey and the desire to address the weaknesses that have emerged over time in a structured way, transforming them into levers for growth, consolidation, and innovation.
Over the years, Teatro Magro has expanded its scope of action, intensifying artistic production, training, territorial and international planning, and working with vulnerable people and communities. This growth, while rich in results, has highlighted the need to rethink internal organization, workflows, and information management to make daily action more fluid, shared, and sustainable in the long term.
ROSSO DI SERA is developing as a two-year program (2026–2027) aimed at improving the Cooperative’s internal processes, with particular attention to the rationalization of production flows, the digitalization and reorganization of the physical and digital archive, and the adoption of more effective management tools. The goal is to build a clear, accessible, and lasting work system capable of sustaining the complexity of Teatro Magro’s artistic and socio-cultural activities.
A second central axis of the project concerns environmental sustainability. ROSSO DI SERA intends to accompany the Cooperative in the definition and implementation of a real sustainability plan, based on the measurement of ecological impact, the identification of concrete emission reduction practices, and the integration of sustainability into decision-making and production processes. Sustainability is understood not as an abstract principle, but as a daily practice, measurable and communicable.
The project also devotes specific attention to staff training and specialization, with the aim of strengthening the management, administrative, and artistic skills of the staff and consciously accompanying the generational transition already underway. Alongside in-house training, ROSSO DI SERA involves selected young people, offering them career paths that foster the acquisition of solid skills in theatrical and cultural work.
Through the involvement of specialised consultants and trainers at national and international level, the project combines moments of theoretical training, targeted advice and practical application. This approach allows the knowledge acquired to be translated into concrete and shared changes, promoting a gradual but profound evolution of the organization.
ROSSO DI SERA is not just an internal project, but an action that looks to the territory and the community. Strengthening Teatro Magro means increasing the quality, effectiveness and sustainability of cultural actions aimed at citizens, bodies and partners with whom the Cooperative works. From this perspective, the project helps spread a culture of design, environmental responsibility, and theater as a tool for relationship, inclusion, and social transformation.
