Eight small inhabited houses, simply furnished spaces.
The actors live their own home through a performative act between literature and architecture, upon a ridge without distinction.
There’s something architectural in the act of writing a book and something poetical about building a house.
The audience will receive a map to wander freely through all the performative intallations.
“There should be a map at the end of every book.
Not a table of contents, rather a house plan of all its parts, describing the foundations, all of its different accesses, rooms, services and hallways.
Its capacity should be specified, as well as its costs, explaining the amount of maintenance work over time.
Thus revealing the true outline of the worksite and the parts that are hidden from the written page scheme.
Above all knowing: which and how much material, wood, stones, pipes, concrete are needed?
Assess the situation from time to time. Not really on its own reasons to be, rather on its simple topographic position and precisely compared to its location.
I have an exceptional memory, a pretty prodigious one I think, of all the places that I’ve slept in, except from my childhood ones.
My spaces are fragile, time will consume them, destroy them: nothing will resemble what they were, my memories will betray them.”
