“S in 5” pays tribute to the author by focusing on the main eight Shakespearean texts: Romeo and Juliet, Othello, Macbeth, Hamlet, The Tempest, The Taming of the Shrew, The Merchant of Venice and A Midsummer Night’s Dream are transformed into live performances of 5 minutes each, perfectly recognizable into their narrative framework. Their immortal characters are revived through tailor-made masks created by Teatro Magro with a minimal yet ironic style. An unusual mechanism full of subtle humour to remind the audience of the entangles of the plots and iconic protagonists imprinted in our society.
